Responsibilities: Complete Bulldog card reconciliation on a monthly basis; complete bank and working fund reconciliations; process and analyze accounting transactions; develop and implement internal operational control procedures; assist with the preparation of monthly and annual closing process; assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and schedules; download and record daily TouchNet cash receipt activity; download and record daily bank statement activity; reconcile daily cash receipts activity; prepare and record monthly transactions in the Financial System; verify transactions posted to the student account for accuracy and validity; maintains accurate filing system of support documentation; other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required. Minimum two (2) years of experience in accounting or related business functions required. Successful candidate must possess a working knowledge of accounting and accounting principles. He/she should be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively operate software including Word, Excel, (including the use of pivot tables), Access, Outlook, and PeopleSoft Financial and Student Information Systems. Experience with ERP software is preferred. The candidate is required to effectively deal with deadlines, work in a fast-pace environment, track transactions, identify errors in daily/monthly reports and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. He/she must be detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Condition of Employment: Position may require working other than normal working hours.
SALARY: $45,000 - $52,000 Range: I
