To qualify for this position, you must have graduated within the past 2 years from an accredited college or university. In addition to the above statement, you must also possess:
1. In a program leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field OR
2. A degree or certificate received within the past 2 years with at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
3. Veterans who have a military service obligation will have up to six years from degree or certificate completion to apply to Recent Graduates job vacancies.
FV-F: To Qualify for the FV-F, you must show a bachelor's degree with a major in any field; or a degree or certificate with at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
FV-G: To qualify for the FV-G, you must show a bachelor's degree with a major in any field; or a degree or certificate with at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management; AND at least one year experience of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F (FG/GS-9) level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Specialized experience may include but is not limited to: Experience as a contract official awarding and administering official contracts while applying contracting skills to system and support service acquisitions.

APPOINTMENT - If selected, your temporary appointment may not exceed a total of two (2) years.
AGREEMENT: All participants must sign a written Recent Graduates Program Participant Agreement with the FAA that clearly identifies expectations of the appointment such as duties, length of appointment, work schedule, training, mentorship, etc.
CONVERSION: Although it is not guaranteed, an intern may be converted from the Recent Graduates Program to a permanent excepted service position without further competition after successful completion of the required training, mentorship, and other requirements in accordance with the recent graduates participant agreement.*
TERMINATION: Participation in this program may be terminated at any time.
TRANSCRIPTS: Must be submitted. If you do not submit your transcripts, your application will be considered incomplete and will not be given further consideration.
