  • Applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band (FG/GS-13/FV-I) in the Federal Government or non-Federal equivalent. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as that which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is typically in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled.

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:

    • Skill in using computer based tools (including spreadsheet and database software) to develop financial and business analysis, prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and procurement documents for both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Skill in applying procurement life-cycle methodology and processes for large-scale acquisitions of professional and technical services.

    • Skill implementing Contracting Officer Representative (COR) best practices in accordance with the standards established by the Federal Acquisition Institute.

    • Ability to apply project management skills for professional and technical service contracts.
