Data and Communications Director/Special Events Coordinator

Montebello Condo in Alexandria seeking a data and communications director to develop and maintain the Association’s database, web site, and all other electronic communication devises. This individual recommends any changes, additions or deletions in rental or purchase of computer technology/data entry equipment or procedures. Does the layout and publishes the association newsletter and activities flyers. Serves as webmaster for Association website, maintaining and updating as needed. Handles the printing and distribution of monthly community newsletter and activities calendar.  Prepares or edits correspondence, publications, and mailings with correct grammar and spelling before publication. Responsible for administer a planned social media program for the Association.  Acts as a “help desk” for residents seeking association assistance on various matters and sends out all community message notifications of Association activities.

As special events coordinator the position is responsible for the planning, coordination, partial execution and evaluation of Association special events. Working alongside committee chairs, co-facilitates various event related committees as required.  Responsible for all communications and networking in support of special events.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree in marketing, public or community relations, event planning and two years of experience in website/database management.  Working knowledge and experience with BuildingLink software is a Plus. Software proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Photoshop important.  Salary in the low 60s with exceptional benefits.
