The Sr. Product Analyst is responsible for working with Product Management to bridge the R&D efforts of our data science team to the market needs of health plan and healthcare provider stakeholders using the CAQH ProView platform. This will involve defining, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for specific provider data use cases emerging within health plans. It will also entail defining user stories that articulate the needs and motivations of healthcare providers interacting with the platform. These requirements will inform the efforts of the data science team and provide business context for the technical delivery team implementing algorithms and models into the core product. The Senior Product Analyst reports to the Senior Product Manager of CAQH ProView. This position is full time, exempt.



  • Participate in discovery sessions between product managers, data scientists, software developers and UX designers to help design and build innovative software solutions to complex healthcare business problems.
  • Participate in technical design meetings between architects and developers to help gather and document their technical solutions to the business problems for which you are defining requirements.
  • Gather business requirements and break them down into relevant, accurate and detailed functional requirements and user stories.
  • Develop, propose and test prioritized product changes, document and analyze enhancement test results, and present recommendations to the business team/solution work group for approval.
  • Create and maintain product documents and presentation materials to support internal and external communications regarding solution operations.
  • Facilitate status meetings with internal and external stakeholders and product management.
  • Support projects that are large in scope and complexity using industry leading project management standards.
  • Track and communicate progress and status of assigned tasks and projects.

  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned by manager. Mentor new Solutions and CAQH staff in the functionality and customer interaction for CAQH sponsored solutions.



ProView Specific:

  • Support Product Management in aligning the efforts of data science and technical teams with the data needs of health plans, and the expectations of healthcare providers. Be a go-to person who is knowledgeable about stakeholder requirements.
  • Support the management of a third-party data pipeline, assessing potential industry data sharing partners, analyzing the mutual value of data sharing, and directly interacting with technical and business analyst counterparts in those companies.
  • Develop and demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals of the CAQH ProView and VeriFide solutions.


  • Demonstrated self-starter and creative thinker who can handle a considerable amount of unstructured, real world data and be comfortable thinking about solving problems using new and novel approaches.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical concepts and a basic understanding of databases and data structures. An ability and willingness to develop a functional understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to business stakeholders using accurate, easy-to-understand, and compelling language.
  • Ability to conduct market research and assist with the development of business cases, and conceptual design of solutions.
  • Ability to document business, market or product requirements and create functional design specifications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across matrix organizations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of departmental and corporate functions.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize a full plate.

  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in a product analyst role or equivalent position.
  • 4-5 years of experience working in any software/product development role.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.


  • Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare administration, public health, or technology disciplines preferred.
