The Creig Northrop Team has been part of Long & Foster for many years and gives great credit to Long & Foster and the leadership team for contributing to the success the team has already achieved.Job DescriptionThe Social Media Strategist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of organic and paid social media campaigns for all Northrop Realty office locations. He/She will manage the companys social media presence across a variety of platformsFacebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and SnapChat. The hired individual will be directly responsible for the creative strategy, copy, and campaign performance for all platforms. Primary Responsibilities: Promote the companys goals on social mediaConsistent Brand, Recruiting, Continuing Education and Pre-Licensing, Marketing Campaigns, External & Internal Events, External Sponsorships, Charitable Giving and Involvement, Company Events, Employee Engagement, New Hire & Company Announcements, Awards, Client Appreciation Posts, Etc.Develop content strategy campaigns and the implementation of those campaigns. A partnership with Marketing is needed to have social media posts reflect designs within brand. Requests to the marketing department for necessary designs should be based on calculated, strategic planning. Plan and manage a strategic approach to social media, inclusive of all channels in calendar format, followed by reporting insights and analysis post-launch.Support corporate initiatives in tandem with the defined social media strategy. These may include Corporate Communications, Agent-driven events with real-time/live social support and Events & Sponsorships. Onboard new team members with 3rd party management social media platforms.Secondary Responsibilities:Proofing content for email marketing (Ex: Hot New Listings, Drip-Marketing, Blasts).Create content archives for larger purposes (Ex: Email Marketing Campaigns).Strategize a long-term reputation management plan to promote on social media for the company and agents. Campaigns and contests to promote Zillow, Google, Yelp and Facebook Reviews should be planned within the scope of social media planning to build internal programs and public appearance. QualificationsTraits necessary to be successful in this role: Be bold in creating new ways to increase engagement and followers.Be responsive to posts on social media platforms and filter leads to the appropriate person within the company.Be creative with beautifully-written posts that highlight vibrant images of Northrop Realty services, office spaces and employees with well-written information, visionary captions and meaningful hashtags.Be proactive in generating social media campaigns with purposetrack, measure, optimize and prioritize social media efforts to generate results.Be vigilant to the online presence of competitors and leverage best practices within the industry. Minimum Requirements: Degree in Marketing or CommunicationsMinimum of 3 years experience in building and monetizing a brand on social mediaPrecise attention to detail and a passion for consistent brand marketingA skilled writer and editor who can draft compelling social media captions, polls, posts, share text, and other written mediaCreating reports/metrics and explaining status during meetings/presentationsAble to manage and prioritize multiple tasksComfortable working with others within a departmentExperience and expertise with Facebook Live is a must; Experience with Periscope, SnapChat Stories and Filters, and Instagram Stories is highly-recommended.
