We are growing and have a great opportunity for a FULL-TIME dynamic, success driven Project Manager with experience managing healthcare facility projects in the Washington, DC area. In this role, you will provide highly responsive construction management services in one of the firm's core business lines. The Project Manager will: Assume management responsibilities for some or all aspects of new construction or refurbishment projects. Support Owner's process for defining and approving project scope, budget, and goals by providing technical guidance, gathering required information, and preparing required reports for Owner. Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and report on project construction activities of a single project or multiple projects. Manage project team that may consist of facility administrators, project coordinators, general contractors, contracted consultants, Owner personnel, design professionals, and others, and, where required, prepare recommendations concerning structure, composition, and membership of project team. Provide expert technical guidance and information for all aspects of project including construction activities (planning, scheduling, implementation, contracts, industry standards, etc.); Prepare Owner approval recommendations concerning project delivery, schedule, vendor relations, vendor performance, and management issues and execute Owner approved recommendations as required. Monitors construction work and performance of all contractors and personnel to ensure completion on schedule, within budget, in conformance with all contracts, laws, and Owner policies and procedures. Perform other construction manager / program manager functions as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: 3 to 7 years Construction Project Management Experience. 3+ years of recent healthcare facility construction management experience REQUIRED. (Example: hospital, medical office building, tenant improvements for provider care.) Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Demonstrated knowledge of necessary laws and regulations governing environmental, and construction permitting. Expertise negotiating and writing contracts for design professionals and contractors.
