Senior UX Architect

We have an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and talented Senior UX Architect with significant experience to join our Baltimore office. Working in a multi-disciplinary team, you'll be responsible for creating high quality, user-centered design solutions for some of the globes largest brands. The successful candidate will need the ability to both plan and lead on projects. Responsibilities Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team Gather client and user requirements Facilitate Workshops Conduct heuristic evaluations and make best practice recommendations Synthesize research into actionable insights, concepts and solutions Develop persona's, journey maps and storyboards to capture and communicate user behaviors, motivations and goals Model interactions through process diagrams, task flows and interaction diagrams as needed Create sketches, wireframes and working prototypes Assist or lead user research/testing Present concepts and ideas to clients Support and develop less experienced designers Brief UI designers and Developer Run UX training courses on behalf of Jellyfish, which we will train you up to do Qualifications 6+ years UX experience - PORTFOLIO REQUIRED Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or equivalent experience in a design-related discipline Understand and apply user-centered design processes and methodologies Strong knowledge of user experience methods, best practices and design principles across multiple platforms Experience in iterative software delivery methodologies - Agile, SCRUM etc. Experience using remote user research tools (Usertesting.com, Treejack, Lookback.io etc). Expert user of industry standard design software (Sketch, Axure, InVision etc) plus a clear interest in experimenting with new techniques and tools Familiarity with core web technologies (HTML/CSS and JS) preferred Can demonstrate outstanding conceptual and creative thinking in your design work Open, honest, direct and comfortable in giving and receiving constructive feedback Ability to perform effectively to tight deadlines Work well on your own and as part of a team Communicate your ideas clearly and confidently to peers, team leaders and clients, outstanding verbal and written skills Be energetic, passionate and upbeat with lots of ideas and be keen to work hard to produce great results App design experience preferred Agency experience preferred Jellyfish is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
