Real Estate Manager The role of Real Estate Manager will give you the opportunity to enhance your skillset by incorporating high level of technological skills in an entirely paperless environment, and be given the autonomy to find new or more creative and resourceful ways to accomplish the department's objectives. In short, as a Real Estate Manager you will provide market information, financial and property analysis to ensure sites chosen meet customer and company requirements as well as financial targets, while meeting tight deadlines for our unique technology-related real estate management company. Duties Work as a part of the site selection team to identify and manage owned and Leased properties Perform contract analysis of standard and non-standard real estate contracts Provide feedback of analysis to internal team and other department heads Ensure proper documentation is posted in contract database Update existing location searches in database Work to develop and expand our broker channel colocation efforts Prepare weekly and monthly analysis and updates on real estate searches Engage various internal teams to understand customer requirements Communicate and follow up effectively with outside brokerage team as well as sales team Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other team members, internal and external customers Reconcile and track real estate transaction register Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers Proactively work with brokers on colo market intelligence Become knowledgeable of existing product services and stay abreast with new services Process Leases, work with legal department to obtain maximum efficiency Participate in team planning meetings and actively engage in department projects and initiatives Observe and adhere to company policies and procedures Perform other assigned tasks and ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor to support the Real Estate department Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 5+ years telecom/data center real estate experience Commitment to excellent customer service Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Strong communication, attention to detail, goal oriented, problem solving and analytical skills Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Education/Experience 5+ years Real Estate experience Experience in the Data Center industry, Construction or Real Estate environments preferred Bachelor's Degree preferred (BA/BS degree in accounting a strong plus) EdgeConneX believes diversity - of thought, backgrounds and experiences - affects all that we do, from our employees to the solutions we deliver.
