As a result of our continued growth, Regal Builders is seeking a New Construction Estimator for our residential division. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in all phases of site construction. They must have a firm understanding of the construction process and understand production rates for both the large and small projects. They must have a passion for delivering high quality customer service. Must be able to work independently, with little supervision. If you're enthusiastic and a team player, we want to hear from you! Position requirements: A Minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing and residential estimating. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings / blue prints, specifications, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to produce accurate material takeoffs required. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with the MS Office Suite (excel, outlook, word). Ability to utilize our industry specific estimating software. Knowledge of Mark Systems, is a plus. Strong analytical and technical abilities are a must. Construction Accounting, Construction Management and or Accounting background required. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Construction Management preferred Must be willing to spend time in the field, if required. Qualifications: Ability to multi-task and be proficient with project scheduling and planning. High level of organizational skills, consistent attention to details, with the ability to identify discrepancies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to generate and maintain budget estimates for all active construction on multiple job sites. Must have good negotiation skills. Working knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends. Sourcing and obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Responsible for preparing site development budgets, and prepare special quotes for the sales staff. Excellent follow-through and follow-up, able to prioritize conflicting obligations. Works well in a team environment, must be self-motivated and punctual, adapts well to change, and demonstrates flexibility with the ever-changing world of technology and design. Some office work which may require the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, lift, move, and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less, be on your feet for extended periods of time and operate a golf cart.
