Description: We are seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to support our customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. JOB DESCRIPTION: The ISSO ensures that computer security activities, policies, and directives are enforced and arranges for local operator training in the use of the communications equipment and associated software. Coordinate with project staff and individual project managers on all matters concerning AIS security to ensure full compliance with applicable compartmented security directives. The ISSO reviews security documentation to evaluate the adequacy of the security plan for upgraded networks to ensure security solutions are effective and meet all security requirements for processing classified information. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline Candidate shall have 10 years of ISSO experience or equivalent security related experience Experience in at least one of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in preparing reports such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages and System Requirements Traceability Matrixes (SRTMs) Security+, CAP, GSLC, CISM, CASP or CISSP SECURITY CLEARANCE: This position requires the candidate to already possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and to maintain the clearance.
