Description: We are seeking a Network Administratorin Chantilly, VA to support our mission critical customer. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide administration activities support, including ongoing network support, LAN/WAN availability and addressing performance problems across the enterprise across multiple site locations. Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment and serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems. Maintain network security and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Requires Bachelor's Degree (or the equivalent work experience) with 3-5 years' experience in the following: TCP/IP fundamentals, sub-netting, multicast, unicast traffic, routing protocols, and other networking fundamentals Demonstrated competency with network design, operational support, hands-on implementation, configuration and trouble-shooting of multiple networking platforms and hardware devices Internal and external system interoperability/connectivity (NIPRNET; SIPRNET; JWICS; etc.) Network management protocols such as SNMPv3, Net Flow, and SYSLOG while using tools such as Solarwinds and Splunk DoD 8570 IAM-2 certification (CISSP, CCNA, or equivalent) Cisco and/or Juniper certification Clearance required TS/SCI with Poly (current) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ITIL Foundations Certification. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Requires a current TS/SCI with a poly (current).
