Sales Development Representative - SaaS

SAI recently announced the general availability of its new Acadia Performance Platform. Acadia breaks new ground as a software solution that provides just-in-time training and procedural information to employees, anytime, anywhere, on any web-enabled device and a simple but powerful management tool that allows for continual performance monitoring and improvement. Following a round of customer feedback during its Early Adopter Program, Acadia is now available as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application. Given Acadias flexibility and functionality, broad demand for the product across a wide variety of industry verticals is anticipated, beginning with the Retail and Health Care sectors and extending into other verticals as the sales team grows. You will be working with an experienced team of software and consulting industry professionals as we grow a significant user base among Fortune 500 Commercial and large government customers. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Generates new convertible leads and appointments with Acadia prospects through telemarketing, emailing and building relationships Works closely with Marketing and Business Development Executives to qualify prospects, coordinate meetings, and drive new opportunities Follows disciplined process to follow-up on email marketing campaigns, webinars and other marketing and sales activities Clearly and effectively communicates the SAI brand and services by phone, email and through social media Strives to meet or exceed activity/prospecting goals on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis Assists in acquisition, analysis and utilization of prospect and customer data Manages data for accounts, contacts, leads and opportunities in CRM system Works closely with designated partners to qualify leads Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Initiative, intelligence, integrity Self-starter, results oriented and coachable Professional persistence, superior attention to detail and skilled with frequent phone conversations Thorough and professional follow-up skills Proven track record delivering activity and results in a consultative sales environment Ability to research for internal and external information to problem solve when necessary Ability to work in team environment and not only be concerned with individual achievement Required Education and Experience Bachelors or equivalent experience strongly preferred Two years of sales experience or equivalent Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, CRM systems and Internet Browser Technology services industry sales experience strongly preferred Experience working in CRM systems to manage prospect and Client data Why Work With Us?
