What Youll Do DevOps team members follow Agile/Lean development process and are involved in the full lifecycle of an application. They are principally responsible for the design and implementation of the continuous delivery pipeline, including continuous integration, continuous delivery and automated environment provisioning. The DevOps team is also responsible for developing the DevOps toolchain, working with a wide variety of open source technologies and tools. Other responsibilities include working within the project team to gather architecturally significant requirements, prototype architecture, implement and update solutions, provide assistance in building and executing test plans, perform technical peer reviews, manage operations as well as production support. DevOps Engineers must be able to adjust to constant business change; common types of changes include new requirements, evolving goals and strategies, and emerging technologies. DevOps Engineers require the ability to interact, develop, engineer, and communicate collaboratively at all levels of the integrated project team. Duties: Lead the design and implementation of the CI/CD for complex federal government systems modernization programs High interest in taking on new initiatives and new task orders to build innovative functionality into the evolving systems Effectively collaborate and maintain open communication, reaching across functional borders within the project team Ability to master a multitude of open source platforms and cloud technologies, including containers (Docker, etc.) Establish and maintain containerization and change management infrastructure Perform platform design and implementation activities to support current and future application development, services-oriented integration and technical and network engineering projects Experience with environment provisioning and operations management Familiarity and comfort with frequent, continuous testing Advanced knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment concepts (Jenkins) Maintain performance metrics and monitoring for microservices architecture and operations environment Demonstrate DevOps concepts to customers Review engineering designs to make sure that the designs meet the contractual requirements Troubleshoot build failures, environment issues and technical blockers with appropriate team members Define and maintain Configuration Management (CM) procedures and monitor adherence of CM procedures What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field US Citizen based on client requirements Ability to obtain a security clearance Three to seven years of related DevOps experience Proficiency with Cloud formation (build) in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools, infrastructure and processes using Jenkins Ability to manage and automate the build and development process using Gradle or Maven Proficiency with microservices, Docker, and container orchestration Experience with developing or supporting interfaces using APIs Ability to identify problems, and effectively communicate solutions to peers and management Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people with a variety of skill sets Ability to scope and estimate technical builds Effectively conduct architectural reviews It's also helpful if you have Experience in one or more of the following: Computer network penetration testing and techniques Computer evidence seizure Computer forensic analysis and data recovery Computer intrusion analysis and incident response, intrusion detection Computer network surveillance/monitoring Network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures Knowledge and understanding of databases (MySql/ MariaDB) Knowledge of resource monitoring systems Strong background in Windows systems administration Experience with PowerShell Have proficiency in relevant scripting languages Working knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, ICMP, SSH, LDAP, DNS Why TeraThink is a Great Place to Work Benefits: We love coming to work every day.
