The Beverage Manager will oversee, plan and direct the beverage operations of the Clubs. Support the team through continuous development, including a team of Servers, Bartenders, Server Assistants and Assistant Restaurant Managers. The Beverage Manager oversees the entire beverage operation of the restaurant. In addition, the Beverage Manager plans and organizes how beverage systems will bet set up, directs and supervises employees working with beverages, and evaluates the overall effectiveness of the team. Congressional Country Club is looking for Team Members that believe the impossible is possible. What will be expected of you: * Modeling exceptional hospitality and delivering service excellence for the members and their guests. * Receive, check, and enter items into inventory upon arrival, and ensure that paperwork is processed for bookkeeping and payment. * Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for all beverage areas * Prevent product loss and maximize profit. Hold staff accountable for those objectives being met. * Uphold beverage quality standards, procedures, presentation and bring any inconsistencies to the attention of the team. * Conduct beverage audits three times per week. * Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, sanitation and cleanliness by creating a positive and productive work environment. * Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to alcohol sales. * Oversee beverage training of bar team members. * Provide regular and on-going performance feedback to all bar team members. * Enforce bar policies and standards of conduct; administer prompt and consistent corrective action when policies are not followed. * Constantly improving upon efficient and consistent execution of all systems, standards and processes. * Ensuring inventory control and P&L responsibility and accountability. * Schedules personnel and plans restaurant beverage set-up based upon anticipated member/guest counts and client needs. * Implement F & B policies, operating procedures and training programs, manuals, directives, menus, work schedules, rules and regulations for the beverage team members. * Responsible for obtaining maximum results in the utilization and appearance of the beverage areas, the quality levels, performance and standards of service.
