Description: Leidos is looking for a Vice President of Application Development & Maintenance to join our Corporate Information Technology Services Group. This position can be supported from any Leidos location across the US. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and operating the applications that support our business. As a leader, you will manage a large applications staff and will ensure that operations meet uptime and usage objectives. You will work with our business leaders and peer VPs to ensure business requirements are understood as they relate to applications ITS operates. You will utilize service managers to maintain cost schedule and operations for different application portfolios. You will be responsible for attracting and retaining key talent in the applications area as well as skills roadmaps. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * IT Application implementation and maintenance across a wide portfolio. * Develop and Maintain Enterprise Applications * Maintain SaaS applications as needed * Implement development activities across applications and databases * Develop and Maintain Devops in support of applicable environments * Implement Cloud base application strategies across on prem and cloud development areas * Implement key IT metrics to measure team performance across industry standard metrics * Collaborate well with other IT executive leadership on IT strategies * Maintain a large portfolio budget and support planning for AoP Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree and minimum 15 years of relevant IT experience, particulary in Enterprise IT environment * Must have experience leading a large team and implementing workforce plans * Must have demonstrated experience in managing large IT Budgets * Significant demonstrated experience in Enterprise IT Applications * Ability to collaborate well with executive team * Demonstrated ability to lead large technical staff * Ability to implement industry standard application metrics * Demonstrated experience in leading large scale IT application operations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Advanced Degree in a STEM field. * Knowledge of IT business metrics and industry standard measures Leidos Overview: Leidos is a global science and technology solutions leader working to solve the world's toughest challenges in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and health markets.
