Job Description Job Number: R0011573 Big Data and Cloud Analyst, Mid Key Role: Take on the exciting challenge as a Big Data and Cloud analyst to support clients in solving difficult problems by helping the client make complete sense of data. Leverage current knowledge by writing advanced analytics on Cloud-based technologies. Use scripting and automation expertise to successfully parse and format complex data sets and visualize the data. Function as a subject matter expert for updating and automating traditional analytical techniques through Cloud-based solutions or automation and scripting. Perform as a team player to build holistic solutions for the client to help save time, money, and resources. Research and develop original solutions to help the client solve Big Data problems. Basic Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience with data visualization with Python, D3, or other languages * 2+ years of experience with trend and pattern analysis, analyzing metrics, statistical analysis, data mining, and data normalizations * Current TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required * BS degree in CS, IT, or Engineering Additional Qualifications: * Knowledge of multiple programming languages, including Python, Pig, Pearl, Ruby, SQL, Java, or JavaScript * Knowledge of map reduction * Knowledge of automation and process improvement through programming holistic solutions * Knowledge of user experience design * Ability to design end-to-end solutions from databases to the visualization on top * Ability to work across different divisions, organizations, and leadership chains to influence change * Possession of excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
