PEO IWS BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SUPPORT (PEO IWS) Deputy Program Manager "Position is Contingent upon contract award" PSI Pax is currently recruiting for a Deputy Program Manager to support our government customer in Washington, DC. The Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) is seeking professional support services (PSS) for its broad Business Operations to assist the Government's existing personnel, knowledge and processes. PEO IWS requires PSS for Business and Financial Management (BFM) for the PEO IWS portfolio of programs. PEO IWS leads a professional and experienced organization that delivers Enterprise solutions for Naval Warfare Systems in the areas of Air Defense, Missile Defense, Undersea Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and Anti-Surface Warfare. Duties & Responsibilities: * Acts as the overall lead, manager and administrator for the contracted effort in support of the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems overarching mission. * Lead the teams to support Business and Financial Management, which includes the range of activities necessary to support the full range of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) as implemented in Department of Defense, Department of Navy, and NAVSEA * Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical, program/project and contract administration issues * Supervises contractor personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress. * Manages acquisition and employment of program/project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements. Required Qualifications: * US Citizen, must have a Secret level clearance or higher * Substantial demonstrated experience in DoD acquisition processes, in DoD program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management (for example; contracts, financial) * Extensive demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and/or task direction experience * Extensive experience in communicating, interacting, and working among Senior Executive Service and Flag level personnel * At least eight (8) years of professional experience in the DoD environment, and five (5) years of experience in support of Navy financial management * Knowledgeable of Navy financial policies and procedures and ERP * Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series. * Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management, project management, configuration management and financial management. Education Requirements: * Bachelor's degree preferred * MS or MBA degree in Business Administration or another business-related discipline. * BA/BS degree and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a MS/MBA PSI Pax is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
