DevOps Engineer ActioNet is seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience implementing application deployment and automation tools that will streamline our apps and processes from development to production. Does this sound like you? In this role, you will be joining the tech team that is responsible for building, supporting, automating, and implementing the systems and tools that power the delivery of critical applications and the infrastructure that supports them. This is a multifaceted role that will allow you to dive into the architecture of our deployment systems and processes. You will also be rolling up your sleeves to help administer our systems and code, provide support to our development teams and maintain the apps and tools created by this team. Location: Washington DC Skillset Requirements: * Experience with build and deploy orchestration tools * Experience with automation tools (Salt/Puppet/Ansible/etc) and Git workflow * Can dazzle us with your CLI and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other languages Additional nice to haves: * Working knowledge of .Net framework, C#, IIS, Windows server administration, powershell * Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, Redis * Working knowledge of containers, VMware, AWS, cloud and SaaS services, as well as networking concepts and services like load balancing, DHCP, DNS, routing, WAF, CDN Key candidate qualities: * Love technologies and building tools that help development teams think less about servers and more about code. * Identify and solve development and production bottlenecks by seeking feedback and collaborating with teams to improve systems and processes. You actively engage other team members to review your code, and understand the value of testing when necessary. * You are not afraid to suggest solutions and then dive in to implement them.
