    This position is a TIER THREE clinical care provider. Applicants must meet all of the following qualifications as outlined in SECNAVINST 1754.7A:

    1) State or U.S. territory license or certification that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner.

    2) When the state or U.S. territory licensing or certification requirements include a written examination, candidates for privileging, must have achieved a passing score on that examination.

    3) Possess at least a master's degree in one of following clinical fields: (a) Marriage and Family Therapy from a program accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education or an equivalent degree, OR (b) Social Work from a school accredited by Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or an equivalent degree, OR (c) Psychology from a doctoral program approved by APA or an equivalent degree.

    4) Have engaged in 2 years, that includes at least 2,000 hours, full-time, post-masters supervised clinical experience.

    5) Two years post licensure, that includes at least 2,000 hours post licensure or 4,000 hours post graduate degree, full-time clinical experience in a clinical setting.



    In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Provide technical, clinical, and administrative oversight and management to Counseling and Advocacy services 2)Conduct, sponsor, and/or coordinate clinical and technical training for FFSP counseling and advocacy personnel and family advocacy collateral duty personnel 3)Initiate, develop, and implement regional instructions, directives, policies, and standard operating procedures for delivery of counseling and advocacy services 4) Perform ongoing needs assessments of counseling and advocacy programs and service delivery 5) Provide ongoing technical, clinical, and administrative guidance, consultation and assistance regarding all aspects of counseling and advocacy services.
