    Specialized Experience for the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes:

    -Working on a trading floor or portfolio management in multi-asset classes, such as, sovereign debt, corporate debt, credit markets, mortgages, and derivatives; AND

    -Conducting market, financial, or economic analyses and relating them to public policy (e.g. due diligence, risk exposure, detailed credit analysis, market analysis) on impacts to portfolio regarding issues across a range of financial products and activities; AND

    -Communicating clearly and succinctly in written and verbal forms such analyses and studies to decision makers

    - Experience working with banks, investment fund and insurance companies; AND

    - Experience with credit markets including issuing bonds, underwriting bonds, and determining issuing price and corresponding interest rate of bonds; AND

    - Conducting market, financial, or economic analyses and relating them to public policy (e.g. due diligence, risk exposure, detailed credit analysis, market analysis) on impacts to portfolio regarding monetary policy, international relations, and/or economics issues across financial products; AND

    - Communicating clearly and succinctly in written and verbal forms such analyses and studies to senior decision makers; AND

    - Mentoring and training junior team members.



    Specialized Experience for the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes:

    Experience as a team lead, senior analyst or manager with:

    - Experience working with banks, investment fund and insurance companies; AND

    - Experience with credit markets including issuing bonds, underwriting bonds, and determining issuing price and corresponding interest rate of bonds; AND

    - Conducting market, financial, or economic analyses and relating them to public policy (e.g. due diligence, risk exposure, detailed credit analysis, market analysis) on impacts to portfolio regarding monetary policy, international relations, and/or economics issues across financial products; AND

    - Communicating clearly and succinctly in written and verbal forms such analyses and studies to senior decision makers; AND

    - Mentoring and training junior team members

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
    - A one year probationary period may be required.
    - Must successfully complete a background investigation.
