Licensed Clincal Social Worker (LCSW) Team Coordinator
Optima Health Community Care is seeking a Master's Social Worker/Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MSW and LCSW) to lead our versatile team of field-based Care Coordinators and call center based Care Coordinator Technicians as part of our DMAS contract. This Team Coordinator position is based in our Optima office in Richmond, Virginia and requires an average of 60% travel
throughout the surrounding area including the northern Virginia region.
$5000 sign on bonus for qualified candidates
The MSW/LCSW Team Coordinator will: * Effectively provide guidance and oversight of this instrumental 30+ team
* Travel out in the field in the northern Virginia region to support the Care Coordinators
* Possess a minimum of 3 years of case management experience
* Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience with vulnerable populations
* Assist in conducting tag-alongs and touch points when necessary
* Possess superb time-management and organizational skills
* Effectively communicate with all levels of the team
* Demonstrate appropriate conflict resolution skills
* Possess and maintain satisfactory standing as a LCSW
Phone and Laptop will be provided. Mandatory training is provided and required for one week in Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

Assumes responsibility, accountability and leadership for the daily operations including coordination of work, quality, and service. First line supervisor in the Department of Managed Care for assigned site/function. Facilitates the work of assigned team members. Provides a leadership role in ongoing case manager competency assessment, needs identification and educational offerings. Provides educational services and clinical oversight to the Managed Care Coordination team. Participates in the work activities of assigned teams and provides care coordination services as needed.
Master's Level Degree - SOCIAL WORK
Required: Case Management - 3 years
Required: Basic Life Support, License Clinical Social Worker
Preferred: None, unless noted in the “Other” section below
1 year of experience working with vulnerable populations required. Previous supervisory experience preferred
