Coordinator, Graduate Counseling Clinical Experiences
Lead and provide oversight of services in the Graduate School Counseling program as the clinical coordinator for placement of masters and doctoral students in internships, practicums, and clinical experiences. Serve as the primary contact for finding, developing and placing students in clinical mental health counseling, pastoral clinical mental health counseling, and school counseling sites. Reviews and updates procedures consistent with national level policies and accreditation boards. Provides licensing documentation verification and other Counseling Department services and related efforts as required.
Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, school counseling, or pastoral clinical mental health counseling. 1 to 3 years of related experience. Knowledge of the counseling field and specific requirements from CACREP.
Direct experience as a clinical mental health counselor. LPC, LGPC

Having experience in the field is important as well as having the ability to communicate and advocate for this specific profession. A large amount of time is spent working with students to help them become confident in their search for a site.
