Performs energy analytic and technical work to independently perform the analysis, data management, research and policy development related to the operations and services of the department's Energy Management Division. Independently facilitates the monitoring, assessing, and reporting on the business processes and activities, including measuring and analyzing indicators of energy trends, rates, consumption and costs. Performs a variety of professional work in coordinating department-specific programs and multiple administration functions, such as financial, energy, work production or energy cost analysis, or related functions, and performs related work as required.
NOTE: The starting salary for this position will not exceed the midpoint ($76,221) of the advertised range.
Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in the field related to the assigned functional area; plus two years of professional work experience within the functional area such as human resources, budgeting and financial management, contract administration and business management, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
Valid driver's license.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background and driving record check to the satisfaction of the employer.
Two years of college experience in energy management.
Ability to input, access, and retrieve information from various data sources, including computer screen. Ability to lift 25 pounds. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
Panel interview and may include exercise.
