Provides the day to day administrative support for operations in the department, program or local office setting. Assures accuracy of fiscal operations, records management, and supports routine administrative functions in the workplace setting. Orients new personnel and provides training updates in new procedures. Under the direction or in the absence of the Administrative Assistant V, assumes responsibility for site management functions and collaborates with other professionals at the worksite to coordinate services delivery to implement agency procedures. May supervise administrative staff and related work activities in an office and travel to different work sites.

Employment Standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to high school graduation and three years of experience providing administrative support in the assigned functional area(s).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two or more years of supervisory experience. Experience providing administrative support for operations in a high volume setting. Experience with third party billing. Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and working in a team environment. Excellent customer services skills with the ability to interact in a friendly, service-oriented and professional manner with internal and external customers. Bilingual with English/Spanish skills is a plus.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
Driver's license
Cardio-Pulmonary Certification (CPR)

The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and a driving record check to the satisfaction of the employer.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Job is generally sedentary in nature, however, employee is required to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs and carry up to 25 pounds in weight. Uses hands to grasp, handle or feel. Visual acuity is required to read data on a computer monitor. Ability to operate keyboard driven equipment. Ability to drive a vehicle. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
