Microbiology Adjunct Faculty Pool
HCC offers two courses related to Microbiology:
- Fundamentals of Microbiology is a course designed with a strong emphasis towards allied health careers. Students will become familiar with the characteristics of living things from the molecular to the cellular level for both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.
- Microbiology is a course designed for pre-medical professionals and students planning to major in biological sciences. The course will cover the biology of bacteria, algae, fungi, protozoa, and viruses in terms of morphology, classification, reproduction, metabolism, genetics, population growth, environmental effects on growth and disease production.

Master's degree in Biological Science or related field OR a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or related field and relevant experience.
Prefer prior teaching experience.
