Process / Manufacturing Engineer Job Description The Process / Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment (from pilot to fully operational) to achieve the production goals of the organization. Main Functions: Develop process solutions by identifying, testing, fundamentally understanding, and controlling factors that influence product performance and manufacturability. Deploy new process technologies to continuously improve customer value and meet new product needs. Assess process capabilities and set-up process controls. Define critical product parameters, process steps and necessary documentation. Collaborate with plant personnel to implement and qualify new processes and projects. Job Requirements BS/MS degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical Preferred) 2 - 5 years of experience with at least 1 year experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with Statistical Process Control, DPMO, Six Sigma, Process flow maps and Lean manufacturing practices. Possess strong technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus. Solid Project Management skills with ability to handle multiple projects with cross-functional members. Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to promote teamwork and open communication throughout the organization.
