    GS-13: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service conducting complex civil and administrative investigations and program reviews directly in support of the organization’s mission; studying and analyzing areas considered sensitive to fraud, waste and abuse for the purpose of determining effective controls and designating areas for detection efforts; and skill in preparing written products in a clear and concise manner.

    CTAP/ICTAP Eligibility: Individuals who have special priority selection rights under the Agency Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP) or the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) must be rated at 85 or above on the rating criteria for the position to receive consideration for special priority selection. Federal employees seeking CTAP/ICTAP eligibility must submit proof that they meet the requirements of 5 CFR 330.605 (a) for CTAP and 5 CFR 330.704 for ICTAP. This includes a copy of the agency notice, a copy of their most recent Performance Rating and a copy of their most recent SF-50 noting current position, grade level, and duty location.     Conditions of Employment:

    • Selected applicants must undergo and successfully obtain and maintain a background investigation for a Top Secret clearance. You must meet initial and periodic suitability determinations based on favorable background investigations and updates.
    • Selected applicants are subject to initial and random drug testing. Failure to pass a drug test or maintain a clearance is grounds for removal.
    • Significant travel is expected. Selected applicants must be able to acquire and maintain a government-issued travel charge card.
    • Selectees must complete a one year probationary or trial period unless already completed or excepted by special authority.
    • You must be able to operate a government-owned or leased vehicle and have and maintain a valid driver's license.
    • You will be required to complete an OGE-450, Confidential Statement of Employment and Financial Interests.
    • Selectees for such positions must meet the initial agency suitability determination (i.e. local police checks, review of past employment data, review of Query National Information Center report, results of special agency check, etc.) before a final job offer can be made.
