  • Specialized Exp:
    For GS-14: At least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, interpreting quality management systems principles, policies or regulations, and its application on the evaluation of medical devices or scientific products to provide guidance for program operations; conducting studies to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of programs; developing quality systems policies and procedures for use by multiple scientific programs in the evaluation, development or review of medical devices; implementing quality information management system to collect and evaluate data on program performance; and collaborating with key stakeholders, scientists, or industry officials to accept recommendations and coordinate projects.

    The Category Rating Process does not add veteran's preference points but protects the rights of veterans by placing them ahead of non-preference eligibles within each category.
