    At the GS-15 level: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-14, in the Federal Service.

    Specialized experience is defined as experience leading and managing a security program that prevents, protects and mitigates security incidents impacting personnel, facilities, and information.

    There is no substitution of education for the required specialized experience at the GS-15 level.

    Technical Knowledge – Security Program Management - Demonstrated ability managing a program that prevents, protects and mitigates against life-threatening situations and security incidents impacting staff, facilities and assets.

The examining Human Resources Office (HRO) makes the final determination concerning applicant ratings.
