Day shift 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with occasional weekend rotations required.
Supply chain experience or pharmacy experience specifically related to inventory control preferred.
Maintains appropriate medication inventory levels through regularly checking par levels. Manages return of medications to vendors.
Manages all medication recalls.
Coordinates and documents physical inventory at least annually.
Verifies invoices, manages contracts, manages all product changes and provides regular updates on backordered medication.
Organizes, updates and retains all vendor information as it relates to purchasing
Monitors all areas of 340B compliance, reconciles utilization records, performs regular audits and compliance assessments.
Reports to the Director of Pharmacy
340B purchasing experience preferred.
Hospital pharmacy experience required.
Pharmacy Technician License in Maryland required.
Business education preferred, minimum will be an Associate's degree
Good time management, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and establish priorities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required for creating and presenting a variety of reports.
