Monday - Thursday 12 noon - 8 pm and Friday from 9 a - 5 p.
The Lourie Center's Parent-Child Clinical Services is seeking a full time Intake assistant who can provide 40 hours of intake support in the clinic setting.
Most of this support will be answering questions and requesting information from interested parents and referral sources on the telephone.
The Intake Coordinator is often the first person to speak with an interested parent and thus, it is vital that the he/she be an empathetic and patient responder for these families.
The Intake Coordinator will be supported and supervised by licensed clinicians.
The Intake Coordinator is a vital role on the clinic team as he/she will be responsible for providing intake services to interested parents and referral sources who are seeking therapeutic services for young children. The Intake Coordinator works with other intake team members to determine eligibility for the program. The Intake Coordinator will provide community resources to families that are ineligible for Lourie Center services and ensure eligible families are placed on the Lourie Center clinics waitlist. He/She will meet weekly with the intake team to determine case assignment to the Lourie Center clinic team.
Applicants need to show strong interpersonal skills; read, write and speak English and Spanish proficiently.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel applications.
High School Diploma required, Bachelors or AA degree in any field preferred.
Interest in mental health services. Compassion and patience for families in need.
