You may qualify at the GS-06 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing a wide variety of administrative tasks, such as screening calls and visitors; maintaining a calendar and coordinating meeting, conferences, and special events; making travel arrangements; researching and gathering data and compiling reports; reviewing and controlling mail; drafting and reviewing correspondence; maintaining confidential and sensitive files; advising and instructing others on operations and programs; preparing and maintaining time and attendance records; and utilizing computer technology and software.
In addition to the minimum qualifications requirement, you must be able to type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
