Operations Research Analyst

Key Role:

Support USCYBERCOM responding to SecDef and CJCS directed campaigning for Cyberspace operations globally and against threat adversaries by providing deliberate assessments of strategic level measures of performance and effectiveness. Analyze the USCYBERCOM campaign plan and other command strategy, policy, and doctrine to ensure commander direction and command strategy are adequately interpreted into actions in alignment with strategic and intermediate military objectives. Determine whether the campaign plan, as written, properly captures and describes an approach to implementing all guidance to the command from higher echelons, and national and military strategies and policy documents.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience as an operations research analyst

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-BA or BS degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Cyberspace doctrine, policies, operations, and organizations

-Ability to evaluate strategies that determine the sequence of events

-Ability to conduct verification and validation of the data and model

-Ability to exhibit ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness during the conduction of research and development and preparation of documents, briefings, and analyses, including narrative, tabular, and graphics materials


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
