Visual & Interactive Designer

Description:

Serve as the primary designer for an internal Digital Team that provides a wide variety of creative services for the association. This person will provide design expertise and creative solutions for both internal and external projects.

Primary Project Areas:

  • Association websites
  • Social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Association branding and ensuring brand consistency
  • Support materials for internal departments
  • Misc. advertising efforts

Qualifications:

  • Solid aesthetic sense
  • A flexible skill set that is not dependent on a single design approach
  • Ability to propose creative solutions and ideas
  • Ability to create designs that further association branding
  • Strong attention to detail for quality, consistency and branding
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Expert skills producing web-related artwork that can work across a variety of platforms and sizes
  • Moderate print design knowledge (should be capable of using Adobe Creative Suite to produce reports, brochures, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Windows and OSX
  • A Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years professional experience in web/interactive design and some experience in print design
  • Candidates must be able to provide examples of their work
