Budget and HR Analyst
The Global Education Office Budget and Human Resource Analyst is responsible for student billing; payments to vendors; student payment tracking; faculty contracts and payments; financial record keeping; department budget reconciliation; budget analysis and forecasting. Required Qualifications: B.A. degree, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Candidates must have knowledge of accounting procedures and software; strong organizational and financial skills and solid skills in office technology and procedures. Must be computer literate and adept at MS Excel, e-mail, database, and internet programs. Must have solid people skills including ability to interact with academic faculty. Must be comfortable and professional in handling confidential information. Possess ability to maintain harmonious working relationships with a population of diverse individuals. Should be skilled at dealing with problems and finding workable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications: Would prefer experience with study abroad, knowledge of Masonâ€™s administrative software programs and/or previous work in administrative support at Mason, or other university setting. Experience in professional, financial management is a strong value.
