Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing administrative work of a fiscal, financial management, accounting or budgetary nature.

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ANNOUNCEMENT. Section 1110 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 authorizes the Secretary of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates who possess a finance, accounting, management, or actuarial science degree, other related degree, or experience, to certain positions within the competitive service. This position is being recruited as a Financial Management Analyst (0501) under General Schedule (GS) or AcqDemo (NH).

The pay band equivalencies are as follow:
NH-III is equivalent to GS-12 - GS-13 / Basic Pay Range NH-III: $62,722 - $96,958
NH-IV is equivalent to GS-14 -GS- 15 / Basic Pay Range NH-IV: $88,136-$134,776
General Schedule Basic Pay Range are as follow:
GS-12 Pay Range: $62,722 - $81,541
GS-13 Pay Range: $74,584 - $96, 958
GS-14 Pay Range: $88,136 - $114,578
GS-15 Pay Range: $103,672 -$134,776
Pay will vary by General Schedule/Pay Band and geographic location.
