Potomac Pathways is looking for a dynamic, compassionate, creative Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Team Leader/Clinical Director to join our multidisciplinary team. 

This senior position will oversee the DBT intensive outpatient program and DBT aftercare program for adolescents and young adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health challenges. Potomac Pathways is a client-centered, compassionate, and feedback-informed treatment center that serves communities in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

The ideal candidate is a licensed clinical social worker (or license-eligible in Maryland), and is intensively trained in DBT. We will also consider experienced clinicians who would be interested in undergoing intensive DBT training.

Responsibilities include:

-Leading a group of DBT therapists
-Supervising clinical staff
-Running weekly skills groups
-Reviewing documentation of multiple therapists under supervision
-Assisting with the enrollment of new clients and pre-treatment
-Participating actively in management team leadership meetings
-Training and growing staff
-Phone coaching clients

Compensation depends on experience, and is very competitive, with health, vision and dental insurance, 401(K) contributions, vacation, holidays, continuing education, and supervision from Behavioral Tech.
