Account Executive ( Inside Sales)
The American Trucking Associations (ATA), the nation’s leading trade and lobby association representing the trucking industry, is offering an exciting opportunity within our Membership sales team! We are actively seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Inside Sales Account Executive to sell and market the benefits of ATA membership on a national basis. The successful candidate will act in a proactive sales role by prospecting, recruiting and retaining qualified companies with revenues of $8M or less.
•Establishes or reestablishes the prospect/member relationship;
•Entrenches our position with prospects and current members;
•Maintains membership databases, Personify and Salesforce, monitors and updates information daily as needed; and
•Makes daily calls accordingly to achieve the following goals:
60 Attempted recruitment & retention calls per day
25 Completed presentations per day
100 New Members per year
Knowledge and Skills
BS/BA degree, preferred; minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in sales. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with proactive phone personality. Prior database management experience required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office applications, such as Word and Excel. Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize simultaneously and a proven sales track record.
