We are searching for an Occupational Therapist to join our Sentara Leigh Day Rehab Center in Norfolk, VA! This position is Full-time and offers 40 hours per week!
- MUST have strong Neuro experience
- Prefer candidates with strong computer skills for electronic medical record entry
The Day Rehabilitation Program is an intensive multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation. This program includes a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, a certified registered rehabilitation nurse, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, a speech pathologist, a case manager and a rehab aide.
Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury and help build or restore vocational/ daily living skills as well as general independence. Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
