Job Description:
Optima Health Community Care is in search of an experienced healthcare secretary to join our team in the role of Authorizations Secretary. The ideal candidate will have:

* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Previous secretary experience in a healthcare setting
* Knowledge and/or experience in health insurance and authorizations
* Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
* Superior customer services skills

This is a full-time benefited position located at our MLTSS division in Norfolk, VA.

Provides clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining records and files, and providing assistance to customers.

Education Level
High School Grad or Equivalent

Experience
Required: Secretary - 1 year
