National Psoriasis Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to driving efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected. Headquartered in Portland, Ore., the Psoriasis Foundation is seeking a Grant Writer. This position is responsible for managing our national corporate grant process to include preparing, writing, submitting and reporting for continuing medical education, patient education grants and general support grants to pharmaceutical, non-pharmaceutical companies and corporate and family foundations. Additional responsibilities include corporate communications and performing prospect research; tracking of grants, application schedules / deadlines, contracts and payments, reporting; and collaborating with program staff to obtain program information and outcomes.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with three + years related grant writing experience, non-profit fundraising or corporate relations experience; excellent personal, written and oral communication skills; strong project management abilities; deadline driven, excellent attention to detail and follow through; and the ability to work in a team environment. Candidate to work out of our Alexandria, VA office.
