Full-time position with flexibility to work rotations on evenings and night shifts, including every other weekend / holiday rotation. This position requires the candidate must hold a CSCST certification.
The Sterile Processing Technician II (CRCST) is responsible for providing quality support to surgery and other hospital areas requiring services in the process of meeting physician and patient needs. He/she disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes and stores procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques under direct supervision. Completes requests to dispense equipment and supplies and assists in maintaining and processing patient charge records and maintaining department inventory. Participates in the department performance improvement activities.
