Associate Director/Senior Manager of Operations, MBA Program - McDonough School of Business

Located at the intersection of business, government, and international relations, Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business (MSB) develops principled leaders committed to serving both business and society. Through our global perspective, we prepare students to compete in today's international business environment.

The Associate Director/Senior Manager provides strategic support to MBA Full Time Program and the MBA Evening Program, affording consistency in strategy, finance, budgets, analytics, and operations across MBA Program departments and unlocking efficiencies and synergies among MBA Admissions, Programs, and Career teams. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Dean, MBA Career Center, the Associate Director/Senior Manager, manages the infrastructure and staff that support all MBA Career Center services in duties that include but are not limited to:

  • Oversees critical MBA Career Center services, such as on- and off-campus recruiting; employer development; alumni relationship development, administration of the McDonough student/alumni networking platform; student preparation via career curricula; large and small career events; a catalog of digital resources; internet content; intranet content; social media campaigns; data collection and reporting; front office reception; and more as determined.
  • Organizes the production of employer-facing MBA candidate marketing collateral, including the publication of standardized resumes, resume books, and executive bio books; centralized budget requests and spend; and vendor contracts management.
  • Supervises 3 direct reports, as well as 7 part-time student workers, and ensures that MBA Career Center services are delivered efficiently and without interruption.

Requirements

  • Master's degree
  • 7+ years of business experience organizing mission-critical projects
  • Excellent logistical sense
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to hire and manage staff
