Your Activities

  • Lead and mentor and coach scrum teams
  • Ensure that development process standards are followed
  • Communicate impediments to appropriate management and facilitate resolutions
  • Collaborate with peers to coordinate cross team projects and deliverables
  • Coach both new and experienced teams on agile and scrum principles
  • Facilitate all scrum ceremonies including daily stand up meetings, sprint planning, user demos, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
  • Produce and maintain artifacts (including, but not limited to, the sprint task board) to help communicate team successes, deliverables, and timelines
  • Maximize scrum team productivity by suggesting/implementing process improvements
  • As the resident Scrum expert, support the product owner and business analyst in backlog management and maintenance
  • Work with the software development manager to plan major project milestones and release timelines
  • Help define and monitor capacity planning; develop burndown chart

Your Experience

  • Agile Scrum Master Certification
  • 3-5 years or more of experience running Scrum teams for software products and projects
  • Understand the SDLC in a full Agile Development methodology
  • Previous experience as a team lead for software development projects, and experience with Project Management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience in cross-functional cooperation and integration with team
  • Experience with high level Stakeholder Management
  • Self-starter who understands how to effectively deal with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Experience with Agile Story-based Development and Backlog Management
  • Experience with Agile Metrics, Agile Sizing and Estimation techniques
  • Strong Leadership Skills and a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills in stressful situations
  • Highly motivated self-starter with advanced capability to quickly learn, and work with new technologies and complex technical environments
  • Excellent analytical skills and a good attention to detail and the ability to follow issues through to resolution
  • Results-oriented with relentless focus on operational excellence and execution
