In this position, you will serve as a System Administrator for TARDEC Robotic and Autonomous Systems projects and programs.

Essential Job Functions:

DCS is seeking a System Administrator who is passionate about designing, deploying and maintaining innovative and robust network and local hardware/software solutions. Will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure, and ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to standards, mandates, and organizational business objectives.

Assist in the administration of User & Client accounts on the Windows environment.

Maintain physical- and cyber- security, perform risk assessment, incident response, and accreditation for multiple systems in a DoD environment.

Coordinate technical activities in support of Department of Defense (DoD)/United States Army security compliance management in accordance with regulatory and local guidance.

Support the acquisition, scheduling, testing, and installation of cybersecurity system updates and application patches to produce the enhanced security desired without adversely affecting the performance functional capabilities of the system.

Incorporate cybersecurity processes into existing system administration processes.

Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes customer problems and complaints to ensure that inquiries are resolved appropriately.

Assist and support the required backend applications & tools used to support Development, Engineering and Test Labs.

Assist in preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and systems within these Labs.

Acquire and maintain a highly competent level of knowledge on relevant products, current support policies, and methods of support delivery.

Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in Mac/Windows/Linux hardware and software support.

Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques.

Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks and related hardware and software.

Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good judgment and the ability to coordinate multiple, concurrent tasks in an effective manner.


Previous experience providing System Administrative functions within a Government/DoD environment.

IAT Certification (e.g. A+, Security+, Network+, CISSP).
