Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Sr. IT Systems Architect to support several Federal Government clients at our Lexington Park, MD location. The IT Systems Architect will have technical responsibility and oversight for tasks involving system concept formulation, requirements development, IT system architecture design, system design analysis, and systems integration design and implementation.

Responsibilities
• Provide responsibility and oversight for tasks involving system concept formulation, requirements development, IT system architecture design, system design analysis, and systems integration design and implementation

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or related technical discipline
• 10 years of practical analysis experience in data center design, administration, operations, procedures, and troubleshooting; 15 years desired
• Linux and Microsoft Windows (Server) Administration experience
• Very good technical writing and verbal communications skills
• Knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN) and SAN Administration
• Proficiency with TCP/IP (LAN/WAN)
• Proficiency with network routing and switching
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware
• Background in data center design and operations; including detailed drawing development
• Experience working in a classified environment
• Ability to travel 25% of the time

Desired Qualifications
• Master's in the field of Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or related technical discipline
• Experience with engineering C5ISR systems
• Experience with engineering CSfC certified systems
• Experience supporting clients/users within the Intelligence Community
• Knowledge of hyper converged infrastructure
• Experience using IBM Rational DOORS requirements management tool
• CISSP, CCIE, CCNP, CCDP, or Security+ certifications
• Experience working on DoD engineering and technical services contracts
• Top Secret/SCI DoD security clearance

Education
Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or related technical discipline

Clearance
