Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks an Engineering Manager to support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD location. The Engineering Manager will manage the day-to-day tasking of an engineering staff of 20+ employees (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, IT, and A/V Engineers).

Responsibilities
• Manage, investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate C5ISR systems
• Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
• Provide workforce development; mentor, teach, and manage employee goals, objectives and career development
• Perform resource planning through collaboration with functional and project management leads to ensure engineering resources are available to perform project/task requirements
• Develop, document and implement MIL's systems engineering processes
• Perform quality assurance of all engineering deliverable products and documentation
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic direction of the MIL's C4IS Sector

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in the field of Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
• 10 years of practical engineering experience in design and development of C5ISR equipment/systems and subsystems
• 5 years of experience in a management role
• Experience mentoring, teaching and managing technical employees
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Systems level design experience in the DoD and Federal environment
• Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expertise
• Secret DoD security clearance

Desired Qualifications
• Master's Degree in the field of Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
• Experience with the Naval Air Warfare Aircraft Division 4.11 community
• Experience working on engineering and technical services DoD contracts
• Top Secret/SCI DoD security clearance
• PMP certification

Bachelor's Degree in the field of Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
