AEI, a leading nonprofit public policy research organization with about 250 employees, seeks a Benefits Manager to join the Talent Development Team. The primary responsibility of the Benefits Manager will be to direct the design, development and administration of all AEI benefits plans. The Benefits Manager will be the principal advisor to management and employees on all benefits related issues.
Other primary responsibilities of the position include ensuring prompt and accurate compliance for all benefits programs, managing the benefits renewal process and overseeing the open enrollment process. The Benefits Manager will serve as the liaison with vendors and brokers to resolve employee claims, make plan updates and changes, and coordinate benefits meetings.
The position requires a strong background in human resources and benefits administration, exceptional interpersonal skills, great attention to detail and an interest in Public Policy. A bachelor's degree or a master's degree in human resource management is preferred.
