Financial Resource Specialist, Senior

Key Role:
Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts. Perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements. Learn to use professional concepts, apply company policies and procedures to resolving routing issues, and work on problems of limited scope. Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Build stable internal working relationships.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience in a finance field, including accounting or business, computation, analysis, and auditing

-Experience with using financial systems and software

-Knowledge of the constraints of the government regulations as they relate to the financial management of Working Capital Fund enterprises

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-BA or BS degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance or 4 years of experience in the finance field


Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of general ledgers

-Ability to be highly motivated to continue to develop professional licenses, certifications, and expertise through formal training and on-the-job experience

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Ability to use Microsoft Office applications

-Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, tact, and discretion

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
